Starbucks is most known for their quality coffee shop items such as coffee, teas, and favorites such as hot chocolate. All of their menu items may be ordered in one of three sizes. They offer a Tall size which is a small, a Grande size which is a medium, and a Vente which is a large. As you can see from the menu below each item such as coffee and tea comes in a variety of flavors and styles. Selections such as iced coffee is a great alternative to hot coffee, especially on a hot day. If you are not a big coffee drinker or are cutting back on your caffeine consider ordering off the Tea or “classics” menu. When it comes to their tea you have many choices. You can opt for a simple hot brewed tea or mix things up a bit and go for one of their Tea Lattes or iced teas. And if tea isn’t your thing consider ordering one of their classic drinks. These drinks include things such as hot chocolate and caramel apple cider. My personal favorite is the hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
As you can see Starbucks price list for basic items such as coffee and tea are very fair. Most of these items start at the low end of a dollar and go up to about $3.50. The price is obviously dependent on the size and style you order. For example a basic cup of hot brewed coffee is one of the lowest priced items while more complicated drinks such as the Vente Chai Tea Latte will be a bit more expensive. If you are watching your calorie intake I would recommend going for a basic coffee or tea. A hot brewed cup of coffee has just 5 calories while other drinks on the menu above have calories over the 500 mark. (Items on the Starbucks price list are based on a 2000 calorie diet)
Frappucinos
Frappucinos are a favorite drink of many loyal Starbucks customers. They come in classic coffee flavors such as Mocha, Java Chip, and Vanilla bean. Whichever flavored coffee you choose is blended with ice and topped with whipped cream and other various topping such as caramel or chocolate syrup. They are absolutely addictive and really are fairly priced for the quality and flavor you are getting.
The items on the Frappucino Starbucks price list are naturally more expensive then the items on their basic coffee and tea menu. They still are a great deal as you get delicious blended flavors along with topping such as whipped cream. As you can see the prices for these drinks generally range from the three to four dollar price range. When it comes to calories the Frappucino is really not that bad. You would think with all that whipped cream and toppings that it would be exploding with calories but that is really not the case. In fact of the drinks about come in a light version which contains a substantially less amount of calories and fat in it. One example is their Vente Caramel Frappucino. It weighs in at a whopping 530 calories but the light version of it is just 250 calories. Thats more than 50% percent less calories. Whats more is that the light version of these drinks pretty much taste the same as the normal version.
